I Am Legend Alternative Ending

Hehe... Have you watched "I Am Legend"? Do you enjoy the ending? If you don't, well here's an alternative ending to fulfill your want, if what you seeking for is a happy ending! =)




Frankly speaking, I don't like the alternative ending to this movie.

1st ending
The mutated humans are nuts, their brain not functioning like a normal human being. They just thirst for more blood by killing living creatures (humans). So Smith has no choice but to sacrifice himself by being bombed with the zombie boss so that the antidote can be safely delivered.

2nd ending

Conversely, the second ending doesn't make much sense. I know that Smith captured lots of zombies for experiment and while in the process they died. So when Smith captured a female zombie which happens to be zombie boss GF, that Z.boss then become agitated and wants revenge! After Smith acknowledged the truth, he released her. But the ending tell us that those mutated humans refuse to be treated/cure?? So what happen to them then? Where is the logical thinking of this ending? =P
(but it's a happy ending though, no arguments here)
