This week, get set for an intense and thrilling adventure happening in the world of a computer game in the .hack//Roots series. Where trust and friendship are put to the test!

Storyline:
Following the journey of the protagonist Haseo, a novice player who seems to wield a mysterious power as yet unknown to him, when he plays the game and gets embroiled in the in-game conflicts.

It is the year 2017, and the world's most popular online role-playing game is known as "The World R:2". This virtual borders on lawlessness as player killers - characters who roam the game solely to kill other characters - turn the virtual world into their private playground.

Amidst the chaos, rumours are rife of a merciless player killer named Tri-Edge. When Haseo is targeted for a player-kill shortly after joining the game, he decides to join the enigmatic Ovan, in the quest to find the "Key of the Twilight", a legendary item in the game.

However, as Haseo get drawn deeper into the game, he discovers secrets about the characters, including his friend, Ovan that reveal they are not what they initially appear to be. Also, unknown to Haseo, the quest will ultimately lead him to Tri-Edge and steer him towards the bitter path of revenge.

My End Verdict
This anime inspired me with it's twisted storyline, but they dragged too long which makes it tedious. Rather then feeling excited it actually cast boredom to fallow viewers. What a sabotage!

Rating: 2/5. Don't watch, unless you got nothing better to do! =/

Storyline/Plot:
One day in 18th-century France, a casket with the world "Psalms" was written on the cover is found floating down the River Seine. When the coffin is fished out of the river, the body of a young women is found inside. But no one is more horrified than D'Eon de Beaumont, a French aristocrat and the brother of the dead women, Lia, who was a secret agent for King Louis XV. Ever since then, unknown forces are plotting in the shadows to plunge Europe's grandest capital into chaos.

Enraged by his sister's death, quiet and studious D'Eon joins the secret police, a shadow organisation created to keep the in French society. However, the only clues to her murder are the word "Psalms", the symbol "H?O", and the letters "nqm". Every code has a patterns, every patterns has a message and every messages has it past. The four main characters - D'Eon, Robin, Durand and Teillagory, are all well-crafted and each has a unique charm, which adds more spice to the story.

The real chevalier D'Eon lived during the 18th century and was a diplomatic spy for Louis XI. He often masqueraded as a woman to conduct his espionage activities. So good was his cross-dressing that many speculated that he was actually a woman. It was only until his death in 1810 that he was examined and proved to be automatically a man!

My End Verdict:
A great anime which dose of history in it and historical figures actually make cameos, such as Catherine the Great of Russia. The animation quality is undoubtedly high, indeed a beautiful sight to behold. With its incredible animation. solid voice cast, colorful characters and intriguing plot, Le Chevalier D'Eon is an epic anime series that should excite those who enjoy a good mystery.

Rating: 5/5. Just splendid!

An outing in Sunway Pyramid which I've lost myself there TWICE! due to my poor sense of direction. Seriously! I've to pass by Popular twice only I found my exit, wth! But now abit better la, Lol!

On the 17th Feb 2008

We gather and meet up at RedBox and started off our day by singing our hearts out! Met Thomas, Shian and HYinn there, the early birds! HYinn, I almost cant recognize you, with your short hair cut =P Anyways, I was 5mins late while Nep joins in 10mins later... pity Ana, she forgot to bring her mobile so she searched high and low for us, but luckily managed to, and joined us 1 hour later. At least you came, that counts! =)

After that, we headed to the cinema for a movie! TGV suckssss!!!! Okay, we're so indecisive on what we should watch. These are the shows available that day:

After we tortured ourselves with this movie! it's like "we're finally free from prison" sorta feeling, LOL! then it's time to fill our growling tummy! Ana suggested TGIF! =) so we went there... and HYinn ditched us again with her mysterious "boy-friend" lalala... they are in their own paradise!

In TGIF with Nep, Shian and Ana! Thomas went back early for basketball while HY erhem! Btw, my first time seeing Ana eats so much! @_@

Haha, it was a great day, but the pouring rain at the end of our outing resembled our deep sorrow feelings of saying "good-bye" =/ Nah, I hate "good-byes", much preferred "see you again soon" =)

The air in the early spring is filled with love, all day in February. Sight of cupids are everywhere, appearing at every corner aiming for targets. Though it's quite a promising month that sures to swell happiness to everyone, but it bugs me, sometimes... and it makes my head pounding terribly.

However, the flow of time changes everything. Seeing love birds being together didn't bug me anymore. I guess I'm starting to get use to circumstances like this. It's sure looks blissful being in love or loved by someone and able to share it with your special one, but something inside keeps telling me that I wasn't really for it (just a feeling).

Love is like chemistry, you can't change the formula! Speaking metaphorically, love can either taste sweet, bitter, bitter-sweet, or even tasteless sometimes. What it taste like depends who you want to share your cookie with, erm... get what I mean? The taste becomes obvious as time passed and only time can tell the future we cannot see.

The blessing merits of being single
Being care-free, with less worrisome! Of course we also enjoy the freedom! With all the time to ourselves and the savings that's to treat us to movies and some new goods. See not too shabby, eh?

Storyline:

With this year Chinese New Year just around the corner, my thirst for New Year tidbits/foods is back again! Prawn crackers, mandarin oranges, love letters, dried minced pork (yok kon),… ahh, it’s too strong a temptation to resist. Apparently this year I'm carving for more ngaku(swamp potato). Acknowledged the fact that it's deep fried and oily, I try to restrict myself a little from having too much. xD

As I said, ngaku is a type of potato not mushroom. Don't get fooled by the "ku" word which means "mushroom" in Cantonese (right HY?? Jia Yi dumdum bleek, see Feng Ting also know =P). How come~? Well, here is evidence…

See those leafs sprout from the so called-nagku? Fungus DO NOT grow leafs! So it's obvious is not mushroom!! =P

Okay, enough of this... now, see how these ngaku after being sliced and deep fried. OMG, I like it more than potato chips! Currently I'm crazy over it. =D

If you're all over ngaku like I am, it's best to buy some from the market and fried it yourself. Cheaper and healthier! Those tinned ngaku frequently seen in store are often fried with recycled oil. =O and it’s priced RM10+, not cheap at all!

Besides eatting it as snack! Swamp potato makes a great plant in the house! See... xD

On one raining morning, there is this old lady walking back from the market. She spotted this dirty black furred kitty at the side drain, purring for help. She kindly helped this kitty out of the drain and carefully placed the kitty in her arms and brought it back home.

After a quick bathe, she finds it hard to dry the kitty with its thick fur. So she had an idea of putting this kitty in a microwave to dry faster. And she did!

“ting~~~~”

From that moment, the old lady had a shock of her life!

2 days later after the tragic accident? A lawyer heard of this case and meets this old lady at her kitty’s tombstone where she was grieving.

The lawyer approach to her and spoke:
“excuse me, are you aware on how does a microwave operates?”
“erm, I don’t think so, that’s why it cause the death of my poor kitty”, sobbing
“don’t worry, it’s not your fault. May I ask, are there any warning or notices attached on the microwave saying that you can’t put life animals inside?”
“If there isn’t, then it’s not your fault to blame. It’s the manufacturer!”
“How they can aspect an old woman like you to understand how a microwave work!”
“You’re right!” she nods with agreement…

So the very next day, the case was brought up to the court, suing for negligence.

Storyline:

High school punk, Hanamichi Sakuragi, joins Shohoku High's basketball team to win the heart of Haruko Akagi. But the problem is he has never played basketball before. High school brawler, Hanamichi Sakuragi, has problems finding a girlfriend. This sizzling hot anime is sure to entertains you and pluck your spirit towards basketball. Regardless you like basketball or not, this is a highly recommended anime to all manga/anime fans. Satisfaction guaranteed!
