Team Shohoku (L-R): Mitsui, Ryota, Kogure, Hanamichi, Akagi, Rukawa Storyline:
High school punk, Hanamichi Sakuragi, joins Shohoku High's basketball team to win the heart of Haruko Akagi. But the problem is he has never played basketball before. High school brawler, Hanamichi Sakuragi, has problems finding a girlfriend. The last fifty girls he approached have all flatly rejected him; so when the sweet Haruko Akagi doesn't shun him the way the others have, Sakuragi becomes hopelessly smitten by her. Haruko is keen to have Sakuragi join her brother's basketball team. Not wanting to disappoint her, Sakuragi reluctantly does so. However, Sakuragi has never played basketball before, and it doesn't help that the team's rookie star is stealing Haruko's attention away from him. This sizzling hot anime is sure to entertains you and pluck your spirit towards basketball. Regardless you like basketball or not, this is a highly recommended anime to all manga/anime fans. Satisfaction guaranteed!
