Ragnarok Online

Ragnarok Online - the most anticipated online game that was introduced in 2002. With its mouthwatering avatars and and cute cuddly character, the games also offers various type of job/classes for gamers to experience, sowrdsman, hunter, alchemist, gunslinger...... the list keeps go on.

The world of Ragnarok is never small with its non-stop updates and extensions, from merchant town - Alberta to Turtle Island, Aldebaran to a snow town called Lutie, indeed there's always something to explore. Players are aware of the magnificent great bosses called MVPs which ever ready to surprise you with its amazing reward after defeating them. The system has also installed an item called monster card which increases a players ability and strenght depends on the card. If you got it form a higher level monster, the greater the power.

Approximetely 2 years after the launching of Ragnarok, another amazing updates was conducted - WOE aka War Of Emperium. I still remember those days when I request for an invitation to a guild, most of the reply I get was " you have to pay 1mil for member fees". How pathetic! Recently, the situation was pretty much the opposite. Currently, guild master are eager to recruit new players to their guild for the purpose of WOE, no fees or what so ever required. So instead of searching for a guild, the guild comes to you, haha!

Now tell me which online games doesnt have bug or hackers? Similarly to other, Ragnarok is full of bugs and hackers. Like the repeated conversation in chatter box which your sentences appears twice! =.=" Hackers, using illigal programming system to play the game. Sure we wont "BOT (a system that helps you train)" if the experiences gained from every kill aint that low, but partially half of the gamers population are botter! No surprise here.

Alas, the day arrived when you have to pay to play. RM35 for 1 month access is not cheap at all! Gamers whom despretely looking for cash willing to trade their zeny for RM. A friend of mine said he's doing part time to spend his earning for it. This shows how addictive the game can be, as if its become essential to them >_<. As time passed, population of RO gamers are diminishing drastically. No doubt that now, the administrator setup a free server for fallow RO lovers =D

During the crisis, cyber genius also has it ways to keep their passion for RO alive, by doing so private server was created. My first impression was "guilty" since the whole software used to run the game is illegal, but somehow the games surpass my expectation. Everything you need just cost you 1zeny and you'll get it from NPC, how cool is that! I can see that the main reason for this was for players to enjoy the excitement held in game, such as PVP and WOE. I really enjoyed it and the best part is, you don't have to pay for having fun!

Stuff you need to know about private server:
1. No restriction and barrier. There are people from all over the world who plays this, don't get stun if you see unfamiliar languages.

2. Suppose the GM's pc get haywire, there might be a character "wipe-out". Be prepare.

3. It's awesome as you make friends from all around the world!
