A Letter From Miss Azreena

A Letter From Miss Azreena

Just a few days before our final day in SAM, everyone of us (L3) received a letter from our beloved ESL teacher, Miss Azreena.

What's written on the letter is an encouraging peom by Cathrine Pulsifer. And here's the peom:

Believing in You
By Catherine Pulsifer, 1997

Never stop believing in yourself.
When others doubt, don't you.
Do what you love to do,
No one knows better than you.
Life is too short to live others' dreams
Follow your own dream
Push yourself to reach your goals
And live the life you once dreamed
Trust your instincts.
Be true to yourself.
You know what is right for you.
Never give up or give in.
Forget the words "I don't know how".
You can learn,
You can research,
You can do.
Your mind is powerful.
When you believe you can.
You will find a way.
You won't waste a day.
Persist and persevere
Do not fear
Because if you believe in you
You will find dreams can come true.
May all your dreams turn into goals,
Believe in yourself.
And remember, all of life is a choice.
The decision is up to you.

This piece of creative writing in verse, express deep feelings and noble thoughts in beautiful language. Such lovely and meaningful peom really means alot to me. It resemble life. Thank you for your wonderful letter, and all the best in your future lifes. May there be as much happiness for you as possible. Thank you, Miss Azreena. =)

Black Cat

Black Cat
Anime Review

(from left: Saya, Train and Sven)

Konichiwa neh....^^Do you LOVE this BLACK CAT anime so much just like I do? Like the COOL but warm TRAIN HEARTNET? Like the gentlemen SVEN VOLLFIED? or the kawaii EVE? or maybe the pretty and sexy RISNLET WALKER? or happy-go-lucky kinda girl named SAYA MINATSUKI? Well... for those who want to watch anime or still watching anime, and you are looking for some nice, sizzling action and humour, this is the anime for you. =D

(from left: Train with his friends Sven, Eve and Rinslet)

An ex-assassin decides to go straight and become a bounty hunter. Unfortunately, his formoer associates are not going to make things easy for him.

About the anime

This story it's basically about a deadly assassin named Train Heartnet alias Black Cat, with the number "13" carved on his chest. He is a sharp-shooting assasin, just as it's believed that a passing black cat would bring a person bad luck, ditto for anyone who crosses Train Heartnet's path.

A member of the "Numbers", a group of assassins who work for the powerful organisation Chronos, Train is feared for his lethal skills with his gun Hades. The henchman executes his missions with cold accurancy and lives from mission with no fear or love. That is, untill he meets a "sweeper"(bounty hunter) named Saya who shows him that life is not the void it seems to be. They form a friendship that prompts Train to finally leave the Numbers and do what he wants.

Along the way, Tain meets Sven, a suffering sweeper who seems to be perpetually broke and hungry. And the two become partners. They take up all kinds of cases and meet interessting people like Rinslet Walker, a famous thief and man-ipulator, and Eve, a biologically-engineered girl who is the ultimate bio-weapon.

Unfortunately, it's not going to be easy for Train to walk away from his old life. Not when his departure fromChronos was met with hostility especially from Creed Diskenth, a lunatic with an almost paranoid admiration for Train and his skills.

Creed becomes a crucial part of the story when he forms the Apostles of the Stars, a group of super-powered killers bent on ridding the wolrd of "useless" people.

So, Train and Sven have to take on their most important (and sadly, non-paying) assignment yet: to thwart the Apostle of the Stars' evil plan to turn Earth inhabitants into submissive, mindless androids!

There are yet many sizzling battles~ Just download and watch it~ ^^

My end verdict?
This is an anime that is as good as it can get.

Rating? A definite solid 5/5. Thumbs up! =D

Poem On Life

Poem On Life
AIDS
by Judy Burnette

AIDS was always just a word
yet now it bears your name;
But it has not changed how I feel
I love you just the same.

We should never judge another
with thoughtless words or deeds;
For we all have within us
wounds that have made us bleed.

So you have an illness
none of us quite understand;
It doesn't make you less a person
nor less a man.

You are still that same sweet person
that I have always known;
No matter the distance between us
in my heart you will always have a home.

About This Poem:
This poem was written to Judy's brother after he was diagnosed with aids. If you love someone don't walk away from them when times get hard. That is the time the love between you will blossom to the fullest. Let your love grow.

My Verdict?
Honest and true. Those kind words from Judy are pure and full of sorrow. I can picture her situation. Under such critical circumstances like this, it's sad if your beloved one suffer such pain. I can't bare it but to burst into tears. Hope all turn out well, Judy.

Rain

Rain

It was pouring rain again this afternoon. I lie down on my bed and fast asleep. When I woke up it's nearing dawn. The rain almost dries up.

I somehow felt fragile and this feeling it felt familiar. Staying in this room reminds me of brother. The smell of the books, the scribing on the white board. I really like this room.

But something was in my mind more than that.
Yes... it's the sound, the sound of the rain pouring from Heaven high above the sky. The sound that's encoring in my head. I like the rain and the sound of the rain, as if the rain is healing everything around it, the mountains, the tress, the grass and the roof and ME. It heals me.

When I stare at the rain by the window, it's feels like it wash my pain and sorrow away. Each rain drops absorb and carry my bad energy and bring them to hell. Giving me a chance to smile again for tomorrow.

"Ahh..." how nice it was to feel that way again.

To show my gratitude to all the wonderful things nature has offer. I'll like to dedicate this lovely song Rain by Angela Aki to the wind, flowers and water. This world needs you as much as I do. Enjoy =)
