Unforgettable Memories In London (Part 1)

My longest trip ever, lasted for 2 weeks (14 Dec till 28 Dec 2007)


9pm, our taxi arrived. Reported for boarding as a voice from the speaker announced. Ready to enter Emirates flight 777-300 to Dubai and later~~~ to LONDON!

Finally, after about 6 hours flight we reached Dubai airport.
Still have to wait for 4 hours T__T

spend the free time shopping at duty free

Odd, feels like I was in a shopping mall instead of airport XD

At last, we arrived our destination - London.

Taking sub to Travel Lodge

It was about 5pm when we got there.

We stayed in a service apartment for 2 days

We slept right after we got our rooms and went for McD for dinner? XP

Next morning, in a cab on our way to the famous wax museum, Madame Tussauds

Born supernatural, extraordinary? This is what Alice Academy is all about, educating young children with born super power. To develop and endow knowledge to make use of their powers wisely.

Alice Academy a.k.a. Gakuen Alice

Storyline:
Basically, this anime is about a girl named Mikan Sakura, a naive and stubborn 10 years old nursery student. Mikan was devastated after knowing that her best friend, Hotaru Imai, transfers to study at the strange and forbidding Alice Academy in Tokyo. After hearing horrible rumors of what happens in the Academy, and her anguish at being left behind, Mikan runs away from home to seek out her dear friend, and finds that the school Hotaru transferred to, Alice Academy, is specifically for children who each have a special power called an "Alice". To Mikan's surprise, a teacher at Alice Academy, Narumi, discovers that she too has a unique Alice, leading to her admission into the school.

During her first day in the academy, Mikan was disliked by her classmates knowing the facts that she was brought into the academy by Narumi without proving she has special ability. Worst come to worst she does not know her powers and she accepted a challenge and was dared to walk through the dark forest to test her powers. In the process of her task, she discovered her power and was officially accepted by the academy.

The story is primarily focused on Mikan and her experiences at the Academy, from the everyday bore of classes and exams, to the unexpected clashes with the Anti-Alice Organization (AAO). Despite her initial view of the so-called greatness of the school, Mikan slowly finds out that beneath the grand facade of the Academy lies a never ending stream of lies and deception. Also, Mikan meets a boy named Natsume Hyuga, whom she initially ''hates'' from the very start of the story, but would eventually start to like. And in turn he begins to form an interest in her.
Mikan's naive behaviour, which she often act without thinking caught herself in various risk and trouble, but whatever she did was for her friends sake.

Along with the many friends she comes to make, including Natsume's best friend, Ruka Nogi, and the class representative, Yu Tobita a.k.a. Iincho, Mikan comes to love the Academy and its teachers despite the truth that is built upon half-truths and lies. The story is primarily showing how if you believe in something it will happen and in the case of Mikan she changes the harsh world of the Academy for the better.

Alice Academy has a total of 26 episodes. In fact it's most unlikely that there is season 2 for this anime for a certain reasons. As the story in manga is way ahead than the anime, it's much advice to all dearest Alice fans, support the manga if you're looking forward to the story.

My End Verdict:
A world of enchanment and laughter and going on a fantastic adventure on a forbidden campus is somthing simply unique!

I have to say my top three Chronos Numbers are Train Heartnet, Jenos Hazard and Lin Shaoli.

Train Heartnet

Train Heartnet as No. XIII is so perfect! I love the way Train shoots with his Orihalcon gun, Hades. He looks cool and confident. I'm quite sure he's everyone's favourite cat! The name Black Cat suits him a lot, especially since he likes to drink milk. His Chronos Number outfit makes him look sophisticated and well-defined.

Jenos Hazard

Jenos Hazard, No. VII, is just as popular. He's a total flirt, but I love the way he uses the word "destiny". And the way he controls Excelion, his weapon, never ceases to amaze me too. He's a romantic character who adores girls. And trust me, he knows how to socialise. In the manga, he actually volunteers to be Rinslet's personal bodyguard. Isn't that cute?

Lin Shaoli

No.X, on the other hand, is not losing out in the match. He became a new member of Chronos Numbers following the death of Ash, the former No.X who was killed in the match with the villian Creed Diskenth. Lin knows how to leave an impression. His eyes have a glow that makes him so irresistible. He's a total bishie in every way.In the manga, he's valled a magician because he's great at impersonating others. His identity is revealed in the anime by Train, and the way he uses Seiren (his weapon, an Orihalconmrobe) catches my attention. Who would have thought a robe could become a weapon!

Yesterday (31st Dec 2007), went to Sunway Pyramid with my high school friends. Long time no see yea.. At last, we did!~ =)

It was my first time singing karaoke with them. We did have fun although I didn't sing much. Sorry guys, will try to learn more mandarin songs kay~? XD

After Red-Box, we went for a movie. Sean insist us to watch "I Am Legend". I hate it the fact it's damn scary.. never know whats gonna happen... it surprises you =.=". Do not misundersood me though, it's not that I hate the movie, the movie was great but I hate horror thats all =P

Lol... my hands always beside my ears prepare to cover =.=", btw... you guys seems scare too XD am I right~? =P... bought popcorn.. but can't eat adi... too scare zzz

Anyway, it was great getting to spend time again with you guys again^^

Anyways, this song has an English version. But I feel that English ver. isn't that expressive =/

Besides that, her live performance, ahh... there are always the best. Another song from FF-XII called HOME.



What do you think? Simply superb I'll say. Absolute stunning, bravo! She sings... doesn't try too hard though as if she was really enjoying (unlike other artist who scream out notes). A must to add in my play list =)


Oh yeah... how can I forget the song/artist that I was first introduce and expose into the world of J-pop. Tomoko or best known as Tommy Feb6 in this video.



Amusing when I first saw this video. Seems like she wants to act and dress like a child for her mv and the whole Alice and wonderland theme really gives the touch! Guess what she's 30 who looks like 20, surprise eeh? Never age =P Btw, what's really make it groovy was the drum beat which kinda reminds me of the 80's.

Overall.. an upbeat and optimistic melody which gives cheerful feelings~~~ =)

First of all, I would like to wish everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR =D

Time flies as we enjoying our self! Now another year has passed.

Can you hear fireworks shooting up in the sky? little fire balls popping at every corner as we say good-bye 2007 and welcome year 2008.






What lies ahead in this year... hmm I wonder. I guess it's up to us to decide how we want it to be. It could be full of curiosity and anxiety along the way. But do not worry, our journey of discovering 2008 won't be lonely as we all know we are not travelling alone, because we have friends to share with.
