What Is Hard To Break???

What is the hardest thing to break?

Diamonds are hard to find but not hard to break.

What is the hardest things to break then?

Then answer is:
HABIT

If you break the H, you still have A BIT.
If you break the A, you still have BIT.
If you break the B, you still have IT!!!

Hey, after you break the T in IT, there is still 'I'.

The person at the end of the day, is the root of all the problems.
Cute???

Now, I know why HABIT is so hard to break.

Its destiny is in its name.
The word itself.

My block lecturer, Ms Nina, taught me never, never, never to ASSUME.
Because it makes an 'ASS' out of 'U' and 'ME'...

RESPECT OTHER'S POINT OF VIEW

You think it is a frog and I think it is a horse!

Turn your head at 3 o'clock and you'll see a whole different thing

Moral:
We have to respeect each other's opinion; you can see it clearly in the above picture. We just need to wait and listen actively to others' point of view!

Gong Xi Fa Cai

The year of Ox, 2009 brings a wave of change, promises peace and harmony that is certain to please almost everyone. Still, there's no sign of change in my eating habits when it comes to new year tidbits! Every year I still crave crazily over my favourite CNY dish and tidbits, I mean Yee Sang and Ngaku! In fact, I just had my first Yee Sang yesterday and it was delicious!

Time just passes by too fast, I just remembered celebrating New Year on Jan 1 and here we are on our way to celebrate yet another auspicious CNY! And that's almost the end of our first month in 2009. Haha, we all are well acknowledge and experience it before, so why don't we embrace every minute and make a change for the better this year?

Not going to dwell on the past nor bitterly regret! But to put on a smile and keep moving forward! Wishing ya'all a very prosperous Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai! Hooray to the OX! xD

Nodame Cantabile

Anime Review

This week, we venture into the fields of the classic music and discover the eccentric relationship between two unique talents. As their complex affection deepens, their music soar a greater mile. Nodame Cantabile - production of Tomoko Nioomiya.

Storyline

Shinichi Chiaki is a top student at Momogaoka, a top music academy in Japan. Born into a musical family, Chiaki is a very talented pianist and violinist and has ambitions to be a conductor like his mentor. An arrogant and perfectionist who is highly critical of himself and others, Chiaki has the phobia of flight which traps him in Japan.

The Cast!

He meets Megumi Noda or ‘Nodame’, an extremely talented pianist who prefers playing by ear to reading the music score. Unlike Chiaki, Nodame’s ambition is to be a kindergarten teacher. She is disorganized, bathes only once in several days, loves to eat and annoys Chiaki initially.

Nodame quickly falls in love with Chiaki, who takes much longer to appreciate Nodame’s unusual qualities. As their relationship grows, they begin to develop their musical abilities. Through Nodame, Chiaki gets to lead a student orchestra and also learns to be more appreciative of others’ musical abilities. Through Chiaki, Nodame also faces her own fears and enters a piano competition.

My End Verdict
An truly inspiring anime I've ever seen. The story itself is well plotted and the unique characteristic of each individuals makes them standout and very distinctive by their own. In terms of musics and BGM, they are satisfactory however credit given for their recital playing, which harks back the good-old classics! Definitely a memorable one!

Media
Opening Theme: Allegro Cantabile Sound - Suemitsu & The Suemith
Closing Theme 1: Konna ni Chikaku de... - Crystal Kay
Closing Theme 2: Sagittarius - Suemitsu & The Suemith

Rating: 5/5. *loves*

With Paint & Brushes

Imagination is a powerful tool any artist could ever wanted, an asset that kick starts the initiative preceding of a creative art piece. It can travel by miles without having you to move a single muscle, and it can be manipulated how one's wish it to be. Often what one's imagination are is implied by their experience, the things they saw while traveling, TV, magazine, or even from their wildest dreams (where we glides through fantasy that we never thought existed)... basically anything and everything they've exposed through out their life.

It gives me flicker of ideas and incentive to draw and paint, which has become so useful to me now, especially during boredom moments when watching boring television program is meaningless and preposterously inconsequential to pass the time. So... transferring a portrayed imagination to a piece of blank sheet is a good way to pass time and keep my imagination going!

Masterpiece #1
First Day of Spring

It's the first day of spring where everything blossomed blooms today! Giselle is taking her pet dog, Pepito for a walk to the bakery to buy a new loaf of French bread for the coming tea party. Walking through the pergola of vintage grape into a small park on her way home, and this is how this art piece come about.

Masterpiece #2
Auspicious 9

Do you know the secrets of the number "9". Rumors has it said that the number 9 signify infinity! After numerous deductive reasoning, even numerologist agrees with it. We can see this in the multiplication of the number 9, and every time multiply 9 with any number, we get an answer and add the until a single digit, the answer will still be 9. Don't believe me? Here is evidence:

9 x 11 = 99
(9+9=18)
(1+8=9)

9 x 218 = 1962
(1+9+6+2=18)
(1+8=9)

9 x 555 = 4955
(4+9+5+5=27)
(2+7=9)

Believe me now? :P... That's why this painting is inspired by the number 9, and the others are just scenery of the four seasons. Yea, you should know by now that I'm the epitome of all superstitions wth!

Imagination is the key to unlock our vast possibilities

A Chapter of Culinary

It's twelve days in since we celebrated and welcomed a new year, (Two Ooo Ooo Nine), and the next auspicious event to celebrate about in the calendar is the Chinese New Year - CNY. I'm so happy to born in a multicultural country with so many festive season to celebrate!

Like I said twelve days has passed and only 353 days left in the year 2009, Omg! Recently, I've been keeping myself occupied to do the things I want, I like, I love most before I left Malaysia to Australia in number of weeks time, approx 1 month to go ;)..... Zzz

Okay *swt*, I almost forgot the purpose of this entry until I saw my blog title again... So yea, I've been helping my mum in the kitchen lately as well, baking those CNY cookies we love so much.

This is Green Pea Cookie
before baking

After baking
It's my first time eating green pea cookies. It has quite a unidue taste, but abit sweet >_<
memorandum: reduce the amount of icing sugar, regardless what the recipe said!

Crunchy Dark Chocolate Cookie
Before baking
Err... without the flour and mixture -.-

After baking

Haphazard shaped crunchy dark chocolate cookies - despite it has a not clearly crafted physique, and the lighting makes it looks un-yummy, but that intangible sense of the taste when one bites is more concerned. No?

Almond Flakes Cookies
Before baking

After Baking
this is my personal favourite =)

It's fun to spend a whole great day with my mum and sister baking. While doing it, we get to bond, have fun and the best part is, its cost-effective! =)

Well, this isn't the culinary skill I was hoping to adopt when I study overseas, so I'm forced to learn some real cooking this week from the pro and cook dinner for the first time! xD

It's not the bedtime story that I like,
it's your voice that I love when you read it to me.
